Korana River is situated in Kordun area close to Plitvice Lakes National Park. The most interesting part of Korana River canyon is in Rastoke village. This place is a magnificent confluence of Korana and Slunjcica River. Easy technical whitewater rafting for which you don't need to have previous paddling experience.

Prices: 35 € per person (250 Kuna)
Child discount: 50% for children under 12 years
Included: guide, use of necessary equipment, insurance

Optional lunch: Feel free to contact us is you wish to make reservations for lunch.
Discount: for 20 persons booked, 1 ticket is for free. Additional discount 1,5€ (10 Kuna) per persons for groups of 35 people and more.

CANCELLATIONS
In the unlikely case of extreme weather conditions Huck Finn Adventure Travel will re-schedule the activity for a day or two prior or after the date booked, if possible. If the change is not possible, the payments will be refunded in full.
All client's cancellations must be in writing - by email or fax.
Cancellation charges per person (percentage of total price):
- 8 or more days prior to arrival 0%
- 2-7 days prior to arrival 50%
- 1 day prior to arrival or no show 100%
Program & Gear List
We will meet below the bridge over the Korana River in Rastoke village next to Slunj town. After providing you with the equipment, preparing the boats and giving you safety instructions we will start our descent down the Korana. After the trip you can have lunch, feel free to contact us for reservations.
Category: class II-III (I-II in the summer)
Equipment: We use professional Sotar rafting boats for max 10 persons, with one trained guide in each boat. You will get a helmet, a life jacket, a paddle (plus long neoprene suit & rain jacket in case of cold weather) and one waterproof container per boat for personal items (camera, drinks, etc.).
Things to bring with you: shorts or bathing suit, T-shirt and sandals (or sport shoes), towel, sun cream, water. Optional picnic, but we can also organise lunch for you on request. If you have sun glasses don't forget to tie them.
Huck Finn is not responsible for the loss or damage of your personal items.
In case of low water levels (usually from June-September) we will descend the Korana in kayaks or canoes.
Note: This itinerary is subject to change dependent on group abilities and preferences, weather and special events. Huck Finn guides and trip Leaders will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. This may mean changing the original itinerary to avoid discomfort or risk which could be caused by exceptional heat or cold, stormy weather, heavy traffic or other reasons beyond our control.

How to get there
From Zagreb/Karlovac direction:
Take the highway Zagreb-Karlovac, exit Karlovac. Then take the local road in the direction of Slunj and Plitvice Lakes. Just before Slunj, you will approach Rastoke village. Before the big bridge over the Korana turn right and this road parallel to the river will lead you below the bridge.
From Plitvice Lakes direction:
Take the local road towards Slunj and Karlovac. Just after Slunj you will arrive in Rastoke village. Turn left in the village before the big bridge over the Korana and follow the road until you get under the bridge.
