Sea Kayaking Rovinj Islands
Huck Finn one day trip
The old town of Rovinj is a masterpiece of urban art and architecture but its surroundings are nevertheless a masterpieces of nature: islands of the Rovinj archipelago. The best way to explore and enjoy them is in a kayak. Our kayaks can carry 1, 2 and 3 persons. No previous kayaking experience is needed if you can swim. Even children from 4 years old accompanied by parents can participate.
Kayaks will take you to the old town harbor, to Sv.Katarina Island, Red Island, the Golden Cape, the hidden beaches – all of those in an easy half-day round trip. There will be time to enjoy a walk in the old, narrow streets of Rovinj, have a coffee, an ice cream or a glass of wine. Half-day bicycle tour in Rovinj’s countryside can be combined for the full experience of this nature Paradise.

CANCELLATIONS
In the unlikely case of extreme weather conditions Huck Finn Adventure Travel will re-schedule the activity for a day or two prior or after the date booked, if possible. If the change is not possible, the payments will be refunded in full.
All client's cancellations must be in writing - by email or fax.
Cancellation charges per person (percentage of total price):
- 8 or more days prior to arrival 0%
- 2-7 days prior to arrival 50%
- 1 day prior to arrival or no show 100%
Program & Gear List
We will meet in ACI Marine of Rovinj by the hotel Park. After providing you with the equipment, instructions and safety briefing, the journey will take you to the old town harbour, to Sv.Katarina Island, Red Island, the Golden Cape, the hidden beaches – all of those in an easy half-day roundtrip. This is a great guided trip for those wanting a light exercise and adventure. Spectacular views and rugged coastline will be experienced. Kayaking, swimming, snorkelling, relaxing and enjoying the scenery are a part of this trip. If you need accomodation in the area, feel free to contact us - hotels, apartments and rooms in family homes are available in/near the old town.
Equipment: We use professional sit-on-top kayaks with 2 seats and a 3rd one in the middle for children. You will get a dry bag for personal items (camera, drinks, etc.), a life jacket, a paddle and snorkel gear.
Things to bring with you: shorts or bathing suit, T-shirt and sandals (or sport shoes), towel, sun cream, water.
Huck Finn is not responsible for the loss or damage of your personal items.

Note: This itinerary is subject to change dependent on group abilities and preferences, weather and special events. Huck Finn guides and trip Leaders will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. This may mean changing the original itinerary to avoid discomfort or risk which could be caused by exceptional heat or cold, stormy weather, heavy traffic or other reasons beyond our control.
