Cycling / biking in Croatia

A well-paced cycling / biking tour is a great way to experience Croatia much more closely than from a vehicle. Travel slowly and you will enjoy more. Explore nature parks, river valleys, forests and islands while feeling the smell of flowers, hearing the birds singing and tasting fruit that grows by the road.

There are many kilometres of unspoiled countryside and gorgeous national parks in Croatia ideal for cycling / biking. We usually choose paved roads with very little car traffic and peaceful, friendly and romantic atmosphere.

Various levels and durations of cycling / biking are available, from day trips to weeklong trips. The variety of cycling / biking routes can satisfy everybody's desires, including the countryside around Zagreb and Karlovac, river and lake landscapes of continental Croatia, mountains and highlands (Velebit mountain nature park and Risnjak National Park), coastline, islands and finally the beautiful Istrian Peninsula.

A great way to see the islands is to join a cruise on our catamaran and take your bike with you. Your luggage, your bed and even your cook will follow you behind. A cycling / biking cruise around the islands will take you to places that ordinary tourists do not get to see. These are not only beautiful sceneries but also old towns, villages, palaces, churches and other places of cultural and historic interest.
