Skradin

This charming little town is situated at a point where the river passionately embraces the sea. From here the boats take you into the Krka River National Park. Skradin is the oldest Croatian settlement with the “town“ status. Its hydroelectric power plant was the first in Europe, built in 1895, at the same time as the famous power plant at Niagara Falls. Beautiful nature and World Heritage sites Zadar, Šibenik, Trogir and Split, which are around Skradin, make it a great setting for a vacation combining activity, nature and culture.
