If you love being active outdoors, admire art and history and appreciate ancient architecture and local tradition, this holiday in Croatia is perfect for you. Daily activities are rather short and not too demanding. Mljet Island National Park, Dubrovnik and Elaphiti shorelines are rich in history and natural variety - cliffs, caves, coves, rocks, beaches, pine forests... We will explore them while sailing on a yacht, sea kayaking, cycling / biking, walking / hiking, swimming or snorkeling.
Lopud, Kolocep and Sipan belong to the Elaphiti Islands archipelago - thriteen green islands covered by forests with lots of sunshine and sandy beaches, free of traffic and under an hour's sailing time from Dubrovnik. Each of the three has no more than a couple hundred permanent residents who live in stone houses of traditional character. Tall palm trees, oleander and bougainvillea blossoms, parks and gardens contribute to an easy going lifestyle. Occasionally our yachts or kayaks are escorted by friendly dolphins or tuna that are often seen in the area. The sea is blue, clear, warm and friendly. During our holiday, we will also sail around the other, uninhabited islands of the archilepago. Our journey will also take us to Peljesac peninsula, an area covered with wineyards and home of some of world famous wine, as well as in the Mljet Island National Park.

Reviews
We had a great holiday (one of our best - and we have had a lot!!). The most exciting part was snorkelling into a cave whose entrance was only just on the waterline; the most memorable, difficult to say - the company (our group of 6 really gelled), the places we visited (that you can really only get to in a kayak), the islands and their people themselves...... With Huck Finn everything worked out as it should and it was all 'as advertised' on their website. Our guide was excellent.
We stayed in local rooms (very comfortable), ate at the local restaurants (very well), drank the local wine, used the local transport, shopped for picnics at the local shop etc. As we were kayaking
with a bike ride thrown in, it couldn't have been more environmentally friendly.
It really was a memorable holiday. We all vowed not to tell too many people about the area so that it doesn't get spoilt but, being realistic it will get even more popular and I guess our advice would be to go sooner rather than later.
