Zeljko is the founder of Huck Finn Adventure Travel. When he built his first canoe in the late seventies, he named it after his childhood hero – Huckleberry Finn. Twenty years on, his first canoe transformed into his own business – Huck Finn. Zeljko was one of the first persons to explore Croatia’s beautiful rivers in a kayak, canoe and raft and start running organized outdoor trips in our country. He lead Team Croatia to the Camel White Water Challenge competitions on the Zambezi (Zimbabwe, 1996 and 1997), Pacuare (Costa Rica, 1998) and Orange rivers (South Africa, 1999) and is one of the founders of the International Rafting Federation. Today he spends most of his time on our Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer catamarans guiding sailing trips.
