Huck Finn’s Adventure Sailing holiday isn’t just a sailing trip or adventure package, we designed this holiday for those who love being active outdoors, who admire art and history, and who appreciate ancient architecture and local tradition.
Daily activities are rather short and not too demanding, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the sun on the deck of your yacht. We will sail 5-6 hours a day, welcoming diverse Adriatic shorelines on a gentle breeze. On this tour, we will visit the islands of Mljet, Korcula, and Hvar – Croatia’s well-known southern islands, as well as smaller Lopud, Kolocep and Sipan Island that belong to the group of Elaphiti Islands. These are some of Croatia’s most beautiful green islands – covered by pine forests with lots of sunshine all rich in history and natural variety – cliffs, caves, coves, rocks and sandy beaches. We will explore them while sailing on a yacht, sea kayaking, cycling, swimming, paddleboarding, snorkeling and on foot.
Our experienced local guides and skippers will avoid overcrowded destinations, ensuring you get the most authentic experience. You will have the opportunity to dine at local family-run restaurants, enjoy good food and excellent wine. Friendly dolphins or tuna that are often seen in the area often escort our yachts. The sea is blue, clear, warm and friendly.
This is a non-smoking holiday, which means we ask our travellers to refrain from smoking in the company of other guests. You can easily combine this short cruise with our other short experiences all over Croatia.
Arrive in Hvar town in your arrangement and meet our crew at 4 pm on the main operational dock. Once a Greek colony, today Hvar is a famous Mediterranean tourist spot that attracts visitors for its culture, food and wine, adventure and nightlife. We advise arriving earlier to visit Renaissance summer residences, small galleries in narrow streets and Fortica, a fort protecting Hvar since ancient times. In the afternoon, we will sail around secluded bays of Pakleni Islands, stop for swimming and paddleboarding before we anchor for the night in the area.
Accommodation: yacht.
In the morning, we sail out early towards Korcula and serve breakfast along the way. As we pass by the vibrant island, we will enjoy the sight of the exciting open seas and cliffed coastline of outer Hvar. High cliffs hide small bays with dream-like beaches often accessible only by boat. We will make a few stops for swimming, snorkelling, and paddleboarding before we reach the Peljesac Peninsula for an overnight.

In the morning, look out for skilful windsurfers as we sail across the windy Peljesac canal to the town of Korcula. Korcula has been known since the 6th century BC under the name of Korkyra Melaina, when it was an ancient Greek colony, in translation “Black Korcula” describing its dark green pine forests. According to some theories, this island is also known as the hometown of the 13th-century explorer and traveller Marco Polo, the first European to present facts about China and other Asian countries. On our adventure, we will make a swimming and SUP stop by the Badija Island before arriving in the town of Korcula. There, we discover narrow streets and artisan stores in the town itself. In the afternoon, we sail to turquoise Zuljana Bay on the Peljesac Peninsula for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: yacht.

This morning we get our sails up and gently cruise towards Mljet Island, and the national park. Mljet is the most forested island in the Adriatic, and the smell of pine, juniper, bay leaf and other wild herbs is simply captivating. This scenic National Park contains two salt lakes, with a Benedictine monastery on the isle of St. Mary. You will cycle in the park and around its lakes, and, time permitting, take a boat to visit the monastery of St. Mary. Swim in the salty lakes and enjoy the perfect peace and quiet of this island before returning to your yacht. On our way to Sipan Island, make sure you look out for playful dolphins who will gladly surf along the yacht. Enjoy your dinner in a cozy seaside restaurant in Luka Sipanska village, where we stay for the night.

Time permitting, in the morning, take a walk around the relaxing Luka Sipanska village. The island, which is only 16 square kilometers in size, is home to old summer estates and 34 churches that bear witness to a rich history that peaked during the Dubrovnik Republic era. On our way back, enjoy water activities such as paddleboarding and snorkeling, followed by an amazing lunch on Kolocep Island. As we pass under Dubrovnik imposing cable-stayed bridge, we will say goodbye to the stunning group of Elaphiti Islands and end our tour. In the evening, enjoy your free time surrounded by grand Dubrovnik fortifications. Feel free to ask our staff for help with your further arrangements.
