We created this short getaway for people who love to explore alot in a short time, with activities like sailing, kayaking and hiking through villages and scenic trails.
You will be accomodated in Sipanska Luka, a small village on Sipan, the biggest of the Elaphiti archipelago islands. First day is about getting there and adjusting to the island. On the second day and third days, we’ll lace up our hiking boots and hike on Lopud and Kolocep islands, famous for their car free streets, sandy beaches and rugged landscapes.
Throughout our journey, you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in authentic Croatian cuisine and engage with the local community. From fresh seafood delicacies to traditional flavors, each culinary experience will be a true delight for our taste buds.

Arrival at destination – Luka Sipanska
Arrive in Dubrovnik and head to Gruz Harbour for the group meeting at 4:00 pm. A Huck Finn guide or representative will greet you, provide the tickets, and help you get on the ferry departing at 4:30 pm. The ferry ride takes one hour and 15 minutes.
Upon your arrival to the island, we will transfer you to Sipanska Luka and your accommodation.
Feel free to shape your day—whether unwinding on the beach, enjoying a meal at one of the locally-owned restaurants, or immersing yourself in the local culture. You can discover the communal spirit through the game of bocce ball, a beloved pastime in this area. Witness or join locals gathering each evening for a friendly game, highlighting the warmth that defines Sipan.

Sipan Cycling and Lopud Island Hiking
Today we hop on our bikes for a quick trip across the island to the village of Sudjuradj. Your guide will accompany you on the ride and provide tickets, as well as information about the island you are about to explore on your own today: Lopud.
Lopud has many beautiful walking routes that take one from the shore to the top of the island and back. This island’s true treasures are its tiny churches and an ancient fort strategically located at one of its highest points. In the past it served as an observation point and was used to protect the island’s safety. Descend to the natural sand beach Sunj for a relaxing day, where you can visit seaside restaurants with a sea swing and hammocks nestled in the forest—an ideal place to enjoy a drink in the island’s tranquillity.
Catch a ferry back to Sipan in the afternoon and bike back to Luka Sipanska.

Cycling and Kolocep Island Exploration
Back on our bikes today for another quick ride to Sudjuradj. Like the day before, the guide will provide tickets and instructions as you head to Kolocep, the third of the inhabited Elaphiti Islands.
Interesting for its dramatic scenery with rocky beaches, high cliffs, turquoise bays and colorful reefs, Kolocep offers a great getaway. There are no cars on this tiny island so the walk through the villages will be very enjoyable. On your walk across the island you will encounter many architectural remnants, witnesses of the turbulent history of the area: an old pre-Romantic chapel, ruins of a basilica, summer homes of Dubrovnik nobility, Napoelon’s fort, and more.
Return to the island for one last evening and share your impressions of the day and the week with new friends you made over the course of the week.

On your departure day, we’ve got your comfort in mind. For those with later flights, feel free to leave your belongings in our secure facilities, maximizing your time until the departure ferry. We’ll ensure a seamless transition, transporting you to the ferry terminal when it’s time for your onward journey. Relax, savor the final moments on our island haven, and leave the logistics to us, ensuring a stress-free departure experience.
Please note: the earliest ferries from the island will get you to Dubrovnik at 7:30 am and it takes about 45 minutes to reach the airport.

This itinerary and the duration of the activities are subject to change due to group abilities and preferences, weather conditions and forecasts, water levels, special events of interest, etc. Huck Finn guides and trip leaders will do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience for their clients without compromising safety at any time. Arrival and departure airport: Dubrovnik
Arrival: Transfer from Dubrovnik Gruz Harbour to the island on day 1 is included in the price.
Group meeting will be at the Dubrovnik Gruz Port parking at 16:00 (4 pm), across the road from the Petka Hotel and Jadrolinija ticket office. If you arrive after 6 pm you may miss group orientation and the last ferry to the island. Arrivals after 6 pm may be subject to surcharge for transfers or overnight on land.
Departure: Huck Finn does not include airport transfers nor the departure transfer from the island on Day 4. The earliest ferries from the island will get you to Dubrovnik at 7:30 am and it takes about 45 minutes to reach the airport.
Optional trips are excluded from the price and can be booked and paid on the spot. Optional trips cost approximately 50-60 € per person, payable on site, and are dependent on suitable weather conditions. The price is based on a minimum of 4 participants.
Maximum number of participants: 16 guests per group. Larger groups upon request.
Minimum age: 8 years if accompanied by parent(s).
Child discount: valid for children of 12 years of age if accompanied by an adult. One child enjoying discount shares parent’s room; two or more children can have their own room.
Single use rooms are available upon request with a 50% surcharge. Sharing a twin room with another person is possible in case there are other guests interested in sharing.
