This trip will show you stunning sceneries and landscapes of Dubrovnik Archipelago. It is perfect for those who like being active outdoors and exploring seaside, nature, heritage, history and art. Daily routes are rather short – 3 to 5 hours of easy activity- and not demanding, fit for all ages between 8 and late sixties (no previous sea kayaking experience is necessary). This trip is perfect for families with children but also couples and solo travelers looking to get away from the crowds and enjoy fun activities. We will stay in 3* family run guesthouses, first two nights in a picturesque Zaton Bay and the rest in a secluded villages of Sipan Island and the Peljesac peninsula.

Dubrovnik in Croatia is one of the world’s most beautiful old towns and the Elaphiti shorelines are rich in history and natural variety – cliffs, caves, pine and palm trees, hidden coves, reefs, sandy beaches… Lopud, Kolocep and Sipan Island, where you will stay, belong to the the Elaphiti Islands archipelago. These are some of Croatia’s most beautiful green islands – covered by forests with lots of sunshine and sandy beaches and free of traffic. Their location is ideal – we reach them in under an hour’s time from Dubrovnik and explore them while sea kayaking, cycling, swimming, snorkeling and on foot. In the evenings you will enjoy a full flavoured Mediterranean cuisine, typical for these islands and the area. Our experienced local guides and skippers will avoid overcrowded destinations ensuring you get the most authentic experience.

Arrival in Dubrovnik, swimming and snorkeling Zaton Bay

After the arrival at Dubrovnik Airport, harbour or bus station you will be transferred to Zaton, a charming and picturesque 2 km long bay, only 8 km from Dubrovnik. All three villages – Zaton Mali, Zaton Veliki and Stikovica have cozy waterfront restaurants where one can savour Croatian and Dalmatian specialities. Zaton will be our base for the first two nights of the holiday. Enjoy swimming and snorkeling in a cristal clear water. Afterwards enjoy the first dinner and get to know other group members. Accommodation: Zaton Bay.

Sea kayaking Kolocep Island

For kayakers and divers, Kolocep is the most interesting of the 13 Elaphiti Islands. Discover its blue caves, impressive cliffs and reefs, sandy beaches, romantic villages and pleasant walks. You won’t encounter cars, only calm atmosphere ideal for relaxing vacations. The trip is perfect for those who want to explore unspoiled nature and relax in quiet surroundings without traffic noise. We will explore the silent underwater world in one of its most interesting spots and have a rest on the beach. Accommodation: Zaton Bay. Meals: B. Sea Kayaking: 3-4 h, easy/moderate.3

Cycling Sipan Island

Sipan is the largest of the Elaphiti Islands. It was lucky enough to reach its peak of development at the time when the Republic of Dubrovnik was the richest. The result is the highest number of summer villas found among all three inhabited islands, as well as numerous churches, chapels and monasteries. Two villages, Luka Sipanska and Sudjuradj, are connected by a road with very little traffic, which is ideal for cycling. Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska. Meals: B. Cycling: 2 hours, easy/moderate. Speedboat: 30 minutes.

Hiking Lopud Island

Today we will explore the nearby Lopud Island. Lopud has many beautiful walking routes that take one from sea to the top of the island and back. This island’s true treasures are its tiny churches and a fort strategically located at one of its highest points. In the past it served as an observation point and was used to protect the island’s safety. Prepare yourself for stunning views of the Elaphiti Archipelago and Mljet Island. Accommodation: 3*** guesthouse in Luka Sipanska. Meals: B. Walking: 2-3 hours, easy. Ferry: 15 min each way.

Optional Trip or Beach Day

This is the last day of your holiday if you have booked the 5-day option. You are welcome to schedule your homeward transport for any time. If you decide to spend more time in Croatia, our guides will be happy to recommend other beautiful places to visit – especially those you won’t find in tourist guide books. The rest of the group is free to do whatever you enjoy the most: sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, walking or sea kayaking; or take an optional trip (your guide will be happy to share the possibilities with you). Cycling and sigthseeing Ston

We take the speedboat in the morning to Broce, a beautiful village in a bay of the Peljesac peninsula, enjoyable for its clear water and quietness. Cycle to Ston, a lovely old town unspoiled by tourism, with pleasant cafes and restaurants. Take the time to explore the Ston city walls, salt farms, or taste its famous oysters or mussles before returning to Broce for the evening. Accommodation: Broce guesthouse. Meals: B. Cycling: 1 hour, easy. Speedboat: 30 minutes.

Sea kayaking Broce

Today we spend the day exploring the Peljesac Peninsula, one of the most successful and famous wine making regions in Croatia. It is a true oasis of peace with its vast vineyards, salt and oyster farms, quiet towns, narrow streets and hidden beaches. We will spend the morning sea kayaking in Broce Bay. In the afternoon, you can enjoy paddleboarding, swimming and snorkeling in the bay. Accommodation: Broce guesthouse. Meals: B. Sea kayaking: 2 hours; easy.

Departure – Dubrovnik airport

Transfer to Dubrovnik airport, harbour or bus station for your flight home. You can book your flight from 10 am onwards. Earlier departures can be accommodated, but are subject to surcharge. There might be several group transfers between the destination and airport depending on flight departure time. Optional trips are not included in the price and can be booked and paid on the spot. Optional trips cost approxmately 50-60 € per person, payable on site, and are dependent on suitable weather conditions. The price is based on a minimum of 4 participants.

Minimum age: 8 years if accompanied by parent(s).

Child discount: valid for children of 12 years of age if accompanied by an adult. One child enjoying discount shares parent’s room; two or more children can have their own room.

Single use rooms are available upon request with a 20% surcharge. Sharing a twin room with another person is possible in case there are other guests interested in sharing.
