Arrival in Porec

Porec is not far from the airports and harbors of Pula, Rijeka, Trieste and Venice. We will meet you at the airport, train/bus station or in the harbor and take you there (unless you travel by your own car). Our groups usually get together around mid-day which will give us enough time to choose and test the bicycles on a short tour through the old town. Before sunset we will meet for a welcome drink, dinner and brief orientation where we will have a chance to discuss the upcoming holiday and get to know our guides and fellow travelers. Accommodation: Porec guesthouse; Meals: D.

Sea Kayaking Rovinj Islands

The old town of Rovinj is a masterpiece of urban art and architecture, but its surroundings, the Rovinj Archipelago Islands, are masterpieces of nature. The best way to explore and enjoy them is in a kayak. Kayaks will take you to the old town harbour, the Sv.Katarina Island, the Golden Cape, the Red Island and hidden beaches – all of those in an easy half-day round trip. There will be time to enjoy a walk in the old, narrow streets of Rovinj, have a coffee, an ice cream or a glass of wine. Accommodation: Porec guesthouse; Meals: B, D.

Oprtalj - Groznjan - Motovun Cycling Tour

The Istrian Peninsula is well known for its coast but the real treasures are inland. Don’t miss out on typical Istrian towns built on top of the hills, vineyards, fields and forests which are very pleasant for touring on a bike. This cycling tour includes Oprtalj and Groznjan, charming hillside towns where we will have time for a short walk and exploring. We will get the chance to cycle the Parenzana, old rail road nowdays known as a mecca for cyclists. Slowly traveling down to Mirna River Valley we will be enjoying magnificent views of the countryside. Our trip ends with a lunch on a family farm offering local made Istrian specialties. Since the picturesque hillside town of Motovun is just a short ride away, there will be an option for an afternoon coffee and walk along its walls. Accommodation: Porec guesthouse; Meals: B, D.
