This Croatia multi activity holiday will show you Croatia’s highlights over an 8-day period while keeping you active through various daily excursions. You will visit some of the most beautiful parts of our country as we start from Zagreb and slowly travel south towards Lakes of Plitvice, Krka and Mljet National Parks.

We will kayak in magical Mreznica River canyon, hike in the exquisite Plitvice Lakes National Park, and cycle around Krka and Mljet Lakes.  Your adventure will also take place on spacious and elegant Nautitech catamaran. Opportunity to visit small hidden Adriatic coves and jump in the sea in a heart beat. It does not get better than that. Local food and wine are also an inevitable part of this trip. Together with the itinerary, they guarantee a beautiful, authentic Croatian experience.

Arrival in Zagreb

After your arrival to Zagreb, we will transfer you to charming Mreznica River family run hotel in Zvecaj Village. After settling in, we will have group dinner and orientation meeting.

Note: Arrivals are recommended by 6 pm. Transfers for arrivals after 6 pm are subject to surcharge and you may miss group dinner and orientation. If you want to spend more time in Zagreb, we recommend that you plan your arrival one day earlier.

Mreznica Canyon Kayaking

 Mreznica River is one of Croatia’s most desirable continental retreats due to its transparent green water, unspoiled woods and magical landscapes. Our route takes us from the hotel to a point approximately 45 minutes away where we’ll start our expedition into the canyon. We travel through a gorge so narrow and deep that the sun enters for only a few hours each day, around noon, creating spectacular light effects. Paddling past cliffs of carved white rocks, lush vegetation and cascading waterfalls, we will arrive at a strong freshwater spring. We continue our journey to the second highest waterfall on the Mreznica (8m), a magical place ideal for swimming and a picnic. After a break, we continue and finish the adventure and finally return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Hiking in Plitvice Lakes National Park

We start our day walking along the wooden paths and bridges in and around Plitvice Lakes. Plitvice Lakes are Croatia’s oldest and most famous national park, and for a reason. Its exquisite series of 16 emerald green and opal blue travertine lakes, more than 90 waterfalls and numerous caves made it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The lakes are surrounded by beech and pine forests, home to extensive wildlife. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the pure, untouched nature. A panoramic boat and train ride will take us back to our starting point. Later in the afternoon we return to Korana village just in time to enjoy sunbathing by the clear river right in front of the accommodation.

Cycling in Krka National Park

We will spend our day cycling in Krka River National Park famous for its fantastic karst formations and travertine waterfalls. We will start our trip from the hotel and continue by local roads to the viewpoint over Lake Visovac. In the middle of the lake is Visovac Island with its Franciscan Monastery dating from 15th century. Today we will enjoy an excellent traditional Dalmatian prosciutto lunch. We return to the hotel in the afternoon and you can enjoy a quiet dinner on your own.

Visit Split and transfer to Mljet

Today we continue towards Split. We stop at Split in the morning where you can to take a walk on its popular palm tree promenade and visit the Roman emperor Diocletian’s palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the 4th century. After lunch we will take a catamaran ride to Mljet Island.

Cyclin gin Mljet Island National Park

Our next stop is Mljet Island National Park, a perfect place for activities such as paddleboarding, hiking, cycling and swimming. Entrance fee to the national park is not included in our price, but can be paid on spot. Lush pine forest hides two salt water lakes. You can cycle from our mooring to the lakes and time permitting take a boat to the small island on larger of the lakes and visit an abandoned monastery built in 13th century. Later in the afternoon we sail towards Peljesac peninsula where we will spend the night.

Peljesac Kayaking and stand up paddling

We paddle out of peaceful Peljesac Peninsula bay this morning and head towards the outer side of Peljesac peninsula. You will have plenty of time for swimming and snorkeling on a beautiful hidden beach before returning to the yacht. The Peljesac Peninsula is one of the best Croatian  regions for wine making. As we paddle you will see many wine growing hills along the way so don’t miss a chance to visit some of the wineries.

Departure from Peljesac

Transfer to Dubrovnik. Please note it takes 2 hours to reach Dubrovnik, so your flight should depart no earlier than 10 am.  There might be several group transfers between the destination and airport depending on flight departure time. If you wish to spend some time in Dubrovnik, our guide(s) will be happy to transfer you to your accommodation in the city.
Meals: B. Drive: 2 h.

Child discount: valid for children of 12 years of age if accompanied by an adult. One child enjoying discount shares parents’ room; two or more children can have their own room.

Accommodation notes: Single use rooms are available upon request with 20% surcharge. Sharing a twin room with another person is possible in case there are other guests interested in sharing. In Korana Village rooms are traditional and rustic and two rooms may share one bathroom.
