This multi–activity adventure will take you along coastal and continental parts of Istria, some of the most beautiful Croatian rivers and lakes as well as northern Dalmatia region. You will explore the lakes and waterfalls of Plitvice Lakes National Park and paddle along the biggest lake in the park, lake Kozjak. The itinerary will take you down Kupa and Krka Rivers in a kayak, down Cetina River in a raft and around Brijuni National Park , Porec, Rovinj and Skradin towns in a sea kayak. You will also visit some of the UNESCO protected sights like Euphrasian Basilica in Porec and Trogir and Split towns in Dalmatia and some of Croatia’s most popular National Parks: Plitvice Lakes, Krka and Brijuni. This active holiday will give you a great mix of activities, cultural hotspots and beautiful nature.

The accommodation is chosen carefully to reflect local feel close to the key destinations. We will stay in private guesthouses in Porec , charming Korana Village guesthouses, a hotels in picturesque towns of Skradin and Trogir. Arrival to Porec; visit the Euphrasian Basilica, sea kayaking Porec

Porec is not far from the airports and harbors of Pula, Rijeka, Trieste and Venice. Our groups usually get together in the morning which will give us enough time to enjoy the activities scheduled for the day. First we will have a brief orientation where we will have a chance to discuss the upcoming holiday and get to know our guides and fellow travellers. To start of the tour we will visit the Euphrasian Basilica and later continue with sea kayaking around the shore of the town. Porec, one of Istria’s most renowned tourist destinations, manages to balance the authentic charm of a small coastal town filled with magnificent historical sites, with the perks and exciting features modern and active travelers expect. Spread across 37 km of stunning coastline, Porec Riviera is ideal for sea kayaking which will show you Porec in another light and give you the chance to explore it from a different perspective. This round trip is ideal for those who want to explore Istria in an exciting and adventurous way, but also for families with children and groups who want to enjoy in an active day and beautiful scenery. Sea kayaking Rovinj

The old town of Rovinj is a masterpiece of urban art and architecture, but its surroundings, the Rovinj Archipelago Islands, are masterpieces of nature. The best way to explore and enjoy them is in a kayak. Kayaks will take you to the old town harbour, the Sv.Katarina Island, the Golden Cape, the Red Island and hidden beaches – all of those in an easy half-day round trip. There will be time to enjoy a walk in the old, narrow streets of Rovinj, have a coffee, an ice cream or a glass of wine. Sea kayaking NP Brijuni

Today is all about exploring Brijuni archipelago from a kayak. Brijuni National Park is located in the southern part of the Istrian coast and consists of 14 islands. We will kayak along the coastline of the park exploring it’s scenic beauty. Aftr an active day we will retun to Porec where you will have free time to wonder around the town streets and look at the sunset. Meals: breakfast (lunch and dinner on your own);Accommodation: Porec private guesthouses.

Kayaking Kupa (Lodging Korana)

Today we will head out to continetal part of Croatia and enjoy a day of river kayaking on Kupa River. This cristal clear and beautiful carst river forms a natural border between north-west Croatia and southeast Slovenia. We will kayak down the rapids of the river and explore the river bed from a kayak. After an active day we will go to Korana Village which will be our next base for two nights. Korana Village is a peaceful and charming village situated at the doorstep of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Accommodation is provided by local families and the houses are small, traditional dwellings with simple, clean and comfortable rooms in an idyllic setting. The peaceful atmosphere makes for an ideal base from which we will explore the surrounding area. Meals: breakfast (lunch and dinner on your own); Accommodation: Korana Village private guesthouses.

Paddling in NP Plitvice Lakes (Lodging Korana)

Today we visit the most beautiful and stunning National Park of Croatia – Plitvice Lakes National Park. We start our day walking along the wooden paths and bridges in and around Plitvice Lakes National Park. Its exquisite series of 16 emerald green and opal blue travertine lakes, more than 90 waterfalls and numerous caves make it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The lakes are surrounded by beech and pine forests and are home to extensive wildlife. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the pure and untouched nature. We will paddle along the Kozjak Lake, the biggest lake in the park. Later in the afternoon we return to our accommodation in the village just in time to enjoy some free time before dinner. Kayaking in NP Krka and Skradin bay (Lodging Skradin)

Today we will visit one of Croatia’s most popular National Parks, the Krka River National Park. The fantastic karst formations and travertine waterfalls make it a beautiful swimming area. This is the famous place where the second hydro plant in the world was built, just three days after the first hydroelectric power plant on Niagara Falls. After this relaxing first part we continue to Skradin town where we will have an afternoon of sea kayaking activity in the bay. Skradin is a small picturesque town named after the world famous waterfall on the river Krka. It is the oldest Croatian settlement with the status of a town. Apart from a great history, Skradin and its surroundings are places of unique natural beauties. You are free to enjoy an evening walk around the town. Meals: breakfast (lunch and dinner on your own); Accommodation: Skradin hotel.

Rafting Cetina (Lodging Trogir)

We drive south towards the little village near Omis, where our adventure on the Cetina River begins. Clear green water, jungle-like forests, caves and waterfalls will thrill you and make this rafting trip an unforgettable experience. The Cetina is easy enough for families and absolute beginners. The trip ends at Radman Mills, a national restaurant in a beautiful setting of old mills once powered by the waters of the Cetina River. After an optional lunch we continue to Trogir where we will be staying for the night. Trogir is a UNESCO site, an old town with fairy-tale streets and stone houses of incredible architecture, filled with works of art and warm ambience. We recommend to roam around the streets and have dinner in one of the many local restaurants that serve fresh fish. Meals: breakfast (lunch and dinner on your own); Accommodation: Trogir hotel.

Sightseeing Split, departure

After breakfast we will continue to Split. In Split you are free to walk its popular palm tree promenade and visit the Roman emperor Diocletian’s palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the 4th century Depart from Split for the airport and flight home. You are welcome to schedule your homeward transport for any time. If you decide to spend more time in Croatia, our guides will be happy to recommend other beautiful places to visit – especially those you won’t find in tourist guide books. Meals: breakfast (lunch and dinner on your own).
