Our Sail & Bike has been designed for active and independent cyclists who, in addition to enjoying spending time outdoors, appreciate art, history, culture and local tradition. Daily activities can be as demanding as you choose. Dubrovnik, the Elaphiti shorelines and Mljet Island National Park are rich in history and natural variety – cliffs, caves, coves, rocks, beaches, pine forests… We will explore them while sailing on a yacht, cycling on paved roads, swimming, and snorkeling. Lopud, Kolocep and Sipan belong to the the Elaphiti Islands archipelago – these are some of Croatia’s most beautiful green islands covered by forests with lots of sunshine and sandy beaches, free of traffic, and under an hour’s sailing time from Dubrovnik. Our yachts or kayaks are occasionally escorted by friendly dolphins or tuna that are often seen in the area. The sea is blue, clear, warm and friendly.
The Sail & Bike trip has been designed for active and independent cyclists who are comfortable cycling long distances on their own and without the guide. Please note that not all activities are guided. Occasionally the guide will provide information and directions for the guests to cycle at their own pace.

Elaphiti Islands sea kayaking
The Elaphiti Islands are also a paradise for sea kayaking and snorkelling. We set out from Luka Sipanska, paddling west towards Jakljan, Tajan, and Olipa islands. These islands offer hidden beaches indented coastlines, perfect for exploration. All three are uninhabited and their beaches can only be accessed from a small boat or kayak, resulting in several secluded beaches and a rich, undisturbed underwater world.

Sipan Cycling and Lopud Island Hiking
Lopud has many beautiful walking routes that take one from the shore to the top of the island and back. This island’s true treasures are its tiny churches and an ancient fort strategically located at one of its highest points. In the past it served as an observation point and was used to protect the island’s safety. Descend to the natural sand beach Sunj for a relaxing day, where you can visit seaside restaurants with a sea swing and hammocks nestled in the forest—an ideal place to enjoy a drink in the island’s tranquillity.
Catch a ferry back to Sipan in the afternoon and bike back to Luka Sipanska.

Cycling and Kolocep Island Exploration
Interesting for its dramatic scenery with rocky beaches, high cliffs, turquoise bays and colorful reefs, Kolocep offers a great getaway. There are no cars on this tiny island so the walk through the villages will be very enjoyable. On your walk across the island you will encounter many architectural remnants, witnesses of the turbulent history of the area: an old pre-Romantic chapel, ruins of a basilica, summer homes of Dubrovnik nobility, Napoelon’s fort, and more.
Return to the island for one last evening and share your impressions of the day and the week with new friends you made over the course of the week.
